Friends

So this past week I was watching en episode of Friends with my wife, and it was one of the episodes from the second season, and I realized that this was almost twenty years old! The show was aired in 1993, and I just remember thinking that it is kinda normal to hear jokes and things about gays and lesbians on TV nowadays, but back in 1993 it was really pushing the envelope.  That made me think more about how the media world has really degraded in the last twenty or so years, because things that used to be totally sketchy back then are practically common place now.  I sure hope that this pattern doesn't continue.  If it does, I'm afraid there won't be anything for me to watch!
