Hey, so the "poems" in my first post were just a test to make sure that my blog was working.  They have nothing to do with media.  My blog will be directed toward media and will share various ways that the media has influenced me.  Speaking of which, the first media event for this week occured while I was watching the last two Harry Potter movies with my siblings.  We started discussing how Voldemort didn't have a nose.  We eventually concluded that it must have been a symbol for the fact that he was kinda like a Slitherin House junkie, and so his nose evovled into a snake nose during one of his soul splits or something.  We actually looked up the actor who portrayed him on IMDB just to make sure that HE had a nose!  lol.  Well I guess sometimes we let the media and "Hollywood Magic" trick us quite a bit, and sometimes we just don't know when something is real or fake anymore.  Just something to think about...

  1. Harry Potter never ceases to bring debates. I think it just proves how good it really is.

  2. So I totally thought I posted on here the other day, but I guess not. I probably forgot to type in the random characters they have you do to make sure you're not a zombie. Anyways, speaking of zombies... special effects are way crazy nowadays... crazy good. So good that sometimes we confuse fantasy with reality. Some people out there legitimately believe in and are scared of zombies. It's hilarious.
